The Farmington Pet Adoption
Center—a no-kill shelter—can be so overwhelmed
with pets that the shelter must turn away new arrivals.
Additionally, the shelter can spend years housing
and caring for a pet, all because many people want
a "cute" kitten or puppy instead of an
adult animal. All the while, the staff try to keep
the doors open with the help of volunteers and donations.
ParklandNews.com is going to tackle this problem
head-on.
Over the coming weeks we will list available pets
from the local pounds as well as local shelters.
Information will be updated frequently, including
pictures and information on each pet. |
