The
End Times Spasm Band at the Vault
February 29, 2012
With an arsenal of vintage sounds and their Sunday best,
The End Times Spasm Band revives the spirit of 1920s and
30s dance music, classic female blues singers, and New
Orleans jazz.
The End Times Spasm Band has forged its own sound that
augments high-brow lyricism with a hot, devil-may-care
style. Songwriter and guitarist Bart Helms has penned
songs about paleontology and metaphysically impossible
dances, but the band never loses sight of it’s purpose:
to make feet move.
Their latest studio album, High Wire Lover, was produced
by the band and Geoff Montgomery and is available now
on Chain Smoking Records.
The End Times Spasm Band appears at The
Vault, Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8 and available at The Vault, 204 South A
Street, Farmington, MO 63640.
