18-Year-Old Injured in Route F Accident

A Potosi woman escaped with only minor injuries after
her vehicle crashed on Route F, north of Simpson Road
in Washington County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2001 GMC
Sonoma, driven by Rebecca L. Drennen, 18, of Potosi, was
traveling southbound on Route F when the vehicle traveled
off the right side of the road.
Drennen overcorrected to the left and then to the right,
causing the vehicle to go off the right side of the road,
hit an embankment and come to rest on its side.
Drennen was not wearing a seat belt. She was taken by
ambulance to Washington County Hospital.
