Head-On
Crash Injures Leadington Woman

A Leadington woman escaped with only minor injuries when
her 2001 Chevy Tracker was totaled in a head-on collision.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Christina G.
Bankston, 39, was driving eastbound on John Smith Road
in Washington County when her vehicle crossed the center
line and struck a westbound 2010 Dodge Caravan, driven
by Nelvin D. Williamson, 74, of Potosi.
Williamson was not injured, but Bankston received minor
injuries and was taken by Washington County Ambulance
to Washington County Hospital.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
